Today, I introduced a practical but very impactful improvement to BarberCore.uk: a Bookings section directly inside the Customer Detail page.

The idea behind this change is simple. When you open a customer profile, you should immediately understand their history with your shop—without clicking through multiple pages or searching through booking lists. Time matters, especially during a busy day.

With this update, each customer profile now clearly shows:

  • Customer details at a glance
  • Total spending at your shop
  • Current booking status
  • Recent bookings
  • Activity history

This means you can instantly see whether a customer is new, whether they have an upcoming appointment, how often they visit, and how they have interacted with your business in the past.

The system also handles real-life situations properly. Whether it is a brand-new customer with no bookings yet, someone with an active appointment, a regular client with past visits, or a customer who has cancelled before—everything is shown clearly and accurately.
